It is really simple.
Don’t compare Skip to Paul and Paul to Jay.
There is a Chasm in changes between the equipment, rules, resources, etc.
BBCOR and ball changes happened to Paul as well as the changes to Omaha that he had to transition teams through.
Paul is a HOF coach that won every single stop along the way. He brought LSU Baseball back and if not for Walker’s injury likely has 2 titles.
He did leave LSU with deficiencies in pitching, which ultimately, cost him (remember no lefties?)
