But the war weakens Russia. Those lives don’t matter anymore than some goat farmers in Afghanistan.

I think it is doing the opposite. The Russian tactics and equipment are improving and they are learning how to deal with our equipment and tactics.
We have no answer for the little lancet drones, the mines, and the laser ATGMs. Meanwhile, they are improving all these and building stronger alliances with China and other nations. Plus, they are building lots of promo video for weapons exports.
Are we out of Javelins? Don't hear anymore about those. Did we send them all to Ukraine and they shot them all? That is troubling. I hope we have a reserve to deal with all of Joe's evil white supremist imaginary enemies.

And we can't have that. It's almost as if Russia is seen as the only one suffering from this aggression and carnage.
Seems on here among Putin-ites, that the Ukraine were the initial aggressors, and that this carnage could've all been avoided early on had Ukraine just pulled back and given up on their designs.
That Russia was merely reacting to that aggression by attempting to protect its interests.
That not a scintilla of armchair irredentism is involved, or any other attempts at beginning the prospects of eventually reprising those lost soviets.
All this pain and suffering caused as a result of unjustified fantasies by paranoid people.
Am beginning to see the light and now accepting that take.
Actually, Ukraine should be called out for being so ungrateful for not understanding how great it was for over 70 years to be subject to Bolshevik enlightened despotism.
So why do they insist on fighting so hard against what they should be anticipating with enthusiasm at just the prospect of being able to return to.
The same for the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Rumania, the Baltics, Hungary, Poland.
Just more ingrates who seem to be on edge about what they should be looking forward to with optimism instead of mobilizing against.
