I’d at least like to let them try. Doing that doesn’t mean Skenes isn’t available.

Have you watched LSU baseball this year? 4 of those guys you almost never see in a games for a reason. Hurd gets off to slow starts before he starts to takeover. It's not worth the risk.

No one said he isn’t. You don’t bring in your ace to “nullify” a bad situation. That’s why you start him. He’s your ace.

It should be fairly obvious.
