Not true remotely true. I know several baws who have killed plenty of pythons. Only restriction is you can’t like torture the things. Have to basically get it in the head and kill it (shoot it, stab it, etc). Also no limit on commissioned land or private land as long as landowner allowing you to be there. They’re just not overly easy to find a lot of the time.

Some Burmese pythons removed from the Everglades that have been tested for mercury levels had high amounts of mercury for human consumption.
