But on a less serious matter...is anyone experiencing frame rate drops at random points in the game after 2.01?
At times, I'll drop from 70-80 fps to sub 40 for a bit, even sub 20 when first opening the menu. Sometimes it clears up on its own, other times I'll close the game and restart it. My first suspicion was the CPU being used by some other application, but a quick investigation of Task Manager while this is happening has shown no proof. It definitely wasn't happening pre-2.01. I played substantially in 1.63 and 2.0.
Anyone have any thoughts on this?

updating my amd drivers and turning off cross platform progression in gameplay settings helped that issue for me
