It's an interesting conversation for sure but there are ways to do Disney cheaper as well so it kind of makes things hard to compare. Asia always comes to mind because your dollar goes so far in places like Viet Nam and The Philippines. Singapore is another place that is expensive for Asia but not as expensive as Disney. Not sure I would suggest it for just a week though. Costa Rica is closer and there are plenty if places in the Caribbean that could be done for the cost of a rack rate Disney trip/package but you would definitely be sacrificing some convienences (which may not be a bad thing).
