this is true. My pops was one of those. Military, workaholic. I understand he did what he had to do to make sure his family had food and shelter. I do wish that he could have made it to more events and celebrations, or just be there more. We’ve talked about it. He wishes the same, we have a good relationship now that I’m older.

I was a pipeliner when I found out I was going to be a dad. I left that world to find stability at home so that I could make those events and be present.
