Or open up a warehouse 5 miles from the servicing ports, rail yards, and distribution centers and let diesel trucks drop their trailer there and use electric to move it to the final destination. Then use electric to move it from the port\railyard to the warehouse where diesels can move it the rest of the way.

Exactly, when they aren't getting what they want b/c of the dumb mandates they will cave.
