Where/how to buy Gold Bullion close to the spot price?

Right now an ounce is around $1984.
I could buy it at reputable online markets, such as APMEX or SD Bullion, for at least $100-125 more than the current market price, which would be considered a loss.
Same thing for a Kilo, market price is 63K and listed at APMEX at 65K.
Anyone have experience with this?

You can't outside of an occasional sale where you can get close to spot on small purchases or if you buy raw gold from Joey 4 fingers.
You have to pay the premium to cover refining, gold forming and the retail side.
The good news is you get some of that premium back when selling also so it isn't a complete loss.
