re: Anyone travel for work?

I currently travel for my job. It’s a bit unique since I decide where to go, when to go and for how long. My territory is large so by nature, travel is inevitable. I usually fly out Monday morning and am back Thursday evening one or two times per month.

Being away from my wife is the toughest part but there are times where she has joined me and it makes for a nice experience for both of us. She’s joined me for an Alaska trip before.

The travel gives me a chance to see the parts of the country that I thought I’d never see like Rock Springs, Wyoming for instance. Go for it if the job seems like a good fit. Any type of travel is a broadening experience.
