Got two checks from LIGA (Louisiana Insurance Guaranty Assoc.)

We had FedNat insurance during Ida and had about $35k in damage to an "other structure." FedNat issued us a check for ~$13k (minus deductible and minus amount over our limit) before they became insolvent.

We just got two checks from LIGA. One that is exactly equal to our Net Claim Remaining and one that covers most of the amount over the limit.

Is this LIGA filling in the gaps that insurance didn't cover? We were paid fairly for the coverage we had so I don't want to deposit something that I'll have to deal with paying back later or something.
