As a Guardians fan, I would take him over Clase in a heartbeat considering the results so far this year. It baffles me how much Clase has regressed this year and is only 25 and seemingly healthy. Lange has way better numbers this year, albeit a small sample size.
Plus it would be lagniappe to have one of my favorite former LSU pitchers on my MLB team. Back when we were the Indians (stupid woke name change btw) and dominating the 90s (everything except winning a World Series smh), we had both Joey (Albert) Belle and Paul Byrd
