They can still drive away, just with no sticker. I thought they put this big arse orange sticker if it failed inspection?

June of 1984. We have an old IH Dump/Bean Truck that is used for only hauling soybeans to the grain bin in the instance that none of the other trucks are back from the road. It's used so infrequently and travels maybe no more than 5 or 6 miles from the field to the house that my father never gets it inspected.

Most of the time it sits under the shed not being used and is a bitch to get fired up if it has not run in a while. It's also real fun to drive with about 500 bushels loaded in it as it has no power steering.

They do. But most people don't want that bright arse orange sticker in their window. I've seen him issue a failed orange sticker, and the person tore it off before they drove off.
