Bought a 75" JVC that powered off after 6 months. Argued with JVC until the 12 month warranty expired. They kept saying they couldn't find a repairman near me... which is plausible as I'm in the middle of nowhere. Extended warranty kicked in and they sent me a new one. I went on ebay and bought the parts for the old one for $100 and fixed it in like 10 minutes, most of that time was removing and reattaching the screws that hold the back on.
