Oh yeah.

Years ago driving to our RV at the beach, I gave one of our corgis two fried onion rings. My wife was following in her SUV so she didn’t know this. Within about two hours he was lethargic and could barely stand up. We took him to an emergency vet because we thought he may have eaten some rat poison I had put under a storage shed. When I put him on the counter of the vet, he pissed all over it.

So we tell the vet about the rat poison and he says it isn’t that, because it takes a couple days for rat poison to show effects. So he asks us if he had eaten anything unusual that day. I mentioned that I had given him two fried onion rings and the vet and my wife looked at me like I was retarded.

So he treated him for it and gave us some meds and food for him. On the drive back to the beach, he was sleeping on my lap and pissed all over me.

So not only does it make them sick as a dog, they completely lose control of their bladder.

DO NOT GIVE YOUR DOG ONIONS!

Those onion rings costs me like $300.
