FSU.
We wont recover from losing to them (again).
It would be a national embarrassment (again) and the BK haters in South Bend and ESPN would love it.

Good lord
Florida St will be a top 10 team losing to them in their home state would not in any way be “embarrassing” or unrecoverable. It would severely limit any slack but we were in the playoff conversation last year despite losing to FSU AND getting destroyed at home by Tennessee

FSU almost beat that Top 10 ND team 2 years ago and but for that pitch and fumble when FSU was about to score again, last season would never have come down to a missed extra point.
FSU was better prepared, and BK was outcoached in both games.
Tigers have got to beat FSU to start the season.

We could lose to them by two touchdowns and if we win the next 12, we are in the CFP guaranteed. You cant say that about A&M, UGA, or Tennessee (should we play them). Its been proven time and time again. A September loss means less than a November loss and a non-conference September loss means even less than that.
That said, I will be pretty damn pissed off if we lose to Florida St two years in a row.
