This is quite possibly the most on the nose lowest hanging fruit of intersectional identity politics in entertainment, and you still can't call it what it is. You would rather attack those who have been warning against this shite. This is sad. Feel how you want about star wars fans, but this isn't an example you can excuse away.

I’m not defending it. I doubt I’ll even watch it. It’s that y’all have been bitching about post-Lucas Star Wars for literal YEARS. Are you guys expecting the franchise to be something it has taken transformative steps to no longer be? It’s done. It’s over. I’d say watch something you enjoy, but deep down, I think y’all truly just enjoy bitching about it.
