Not sure. That doesnt happen in Ak. Servers make min wage (or more) plus tips.
McDonalds doesn't do tipping and pays $18/hr. I generally hit food trucks with better service, and tip accordingly..

I’ve always been a good tipper but I’ve gotten to where even when I’m in town I hardly eat out. My first stop in town is usually the grocery store. I do tip my Instacart person well when I’m home because I’m dependent on them to find what I order, make sure expiration dates are acceptable, and get adequate replacements.
