I have been on MJ for 2 months, I've lost an additional 15 lbs, I say additional because I am down 55 lbs since I was diagnosed the type 2 4 years ago. Actually getting diabetes may be the best thing that ever happened to me, it forced me to make a decision, lose weight, exercise or go the insulin route, I chose the former.
MJ itself takes away my appetite as well as my desire for any alcohol. I do get occasional nausea, but temporary and mild. I also noticed that I have to eat much more slowly, 3x in the last month I ate too quickly and more than what MJ wants me to eat, it comes back up, not pleasant.
I have been hitting the gym 3x a week since I started MJ, not sure it helps much with the weight loss, but I have a lot more energy.
