Yeah, this Afro-Centrism revisionist history BS is getting ridiculous. Instead of appropriating every other cultures history and myths, why don't they promote their own history and myths? Instead of doing a story about black Cleopatra/Egyptians, do one on the Nubians or Kingdom of Kush. Why make Achilles black when you have Memnon? Why not tell the story of Mansa Musa instead of Bridgerton or some other made-up black European royalty/aristocracy? Maybe if they spent their time and effort promoting their history and mythology, instead of injecting themselves into others, more people would be aware of and able to appreciate theirs.

Massalia, 2nd only to the ports of Carthage, was a Greek city state in southern France.

quote:I know what you mean but this has been going on for a long time. I had a book by Mary Lefkowitz in the 90s (Not Out of Africa) that covered all this afrocentrism. It's well done and helped me win a debate with an Ivy League professor.

The teachings of the Dr. John Henrik Clarke are mind blowing.
