Yes and No.
It depends on your plan. You won’t get throttled all the time once you reach a certain point, but depending on your plan you have a “deprioritization” limit. Once you hit that amount, if you are in an area where the towers are congested, you move to the end of the priority list and will see much slower speeds. Once you are in an area that isn’t congested, it will be to back up.
Certain plans have true unlimited with no deprioritization if that is important to you.
