WTF is wrong with you? Have you kept your head in the sand and completely missed the stories about kids that got sex change surgery or put on hormone replacement therapy only to regret it later on? Little 12 year old Jane decides she wants to be Johnny and gets put on hormone blockers, then a few years later changes her mind and goes back to being Jane and wants a traditional family of her own. But now Jane will never be able to get pregnant because of the hormone blockers she started taking in junior high. You think kids should be allowed to make irreversible life changing medical decisions? Our government doesn't think that a 20 year old is mature enough to drink alcohol or buy tobacco products, but you think a child is mature enough to decide they want gender reassignment surgery with irreversible effects?
