Found the secret route. Dead push right of the trees, almost hit the people on 10th tee, bounce through OB down the hill to sw distance
OK I laughed at this one
I've had so many different outcomes happen on that hole. Made every score possible from a 3 to a 10 (and the 10 was in the stroke play tournament one year in the last round and needed just a bogey to shoot my best round ever).
If you go for the safe play in the fairway straight ahead, you're still 190 out on a sidehill lie to an uphill green. And that's if it doesn't hook left into the maintenance shed, or roll through the fairway to the rough on #14, in which case you are blocked by #14's trees. The fairway angles away from you so balls roll through a lot, and the lowest point of the fairway is almost always hard pan dog shite lie.
Try to go over the trees to cut off the dogleg, you hope it clears, doesn't get held up in the rough on the mounds on the other side, and also hope it doesn't roll through the fairway onto #14 where again, you will be blocked by trees. And if you don't clear the trees and land in the forest on top of the hill, better hope your ball actually came down and that you can find it, that you can somehow punch it back out, and that it didn't ricochet to the only internal OB on the course.
That's not even getting to the green yet, which is one of the most severely sloped greens on the course, and guarded by bunkers front right and back left.
Just a lovely hole.
