I have a lot of experience with suicide personally being affected and working for a national nonprofit trying to prevent and educate.

This can be a really long topic, but in short, most people who die by suicide think they are doing it for the good of their family and friends. They feel they are a burden to everyone and it would just be better if they weren't around.
