I'm trying to figure out the pros/cons of the competition.

USC in theory has a plethora of L.A. millionaires/billionaires that could potentially tip the NIL scale their way, but that just hasn't happened nor helped USC dominate recruiting in any other sports. Maybe bc L.A. is just a melting pot of transient rich carpet-baggers from other states/school-affiliations. As far as rosters go, Top recruit Juju Watkins is the only name I know. They'd make a nice combo, but I don't think that alone makes them national contenders. But, I don't know the rest of the roster.

USCe has Dawn Staley/NIL who is always tough to bet against getting her girl. Also, SC lost every starter, iirc, which would open up her position/time, but does the reloaded squad with Morrow make them title favorites? No, just a contender, imo. Cardoso & Morrow would be a fantastic front court combo.

If Morrow went to LSU, she'd start on a superteam as title favorites, have Mulkey as coach, and top NIL deals. About the only con is sharing the ball & decrease in production.

If she comes with HVL, LSU will have the women version of Fab Five

I feel good about where we are but I confess your con has me a little worried too. Morrow will be concerned about her NIL money and likely feel she needs to be somewhere where she is the star.

On what would be a super team starting lineup with Angel Reese, Hailey Van Lith, Flau’jae Johnson, and Mikaylah Williams—Morrow might feel there aren’t enough basketballs to go around. They are not all going to average 20 ppg. I hope my concern is unfounded.

I believe it’s about dead solid certain we get either Morrow or Van Lith. I also think we have a fighting chance to land both of them.

Yes, I hope Hailey and Aneesa have talked and said, “Hey let’s team up and go to Baton Rouge and win a championship.”
