Southwest success was a combination of many things that probably made them seem better than they were.

It has been a long time since Southwest has actually been a good deal flying out of Dallas. American always has them beat on price it seems, and the free bags is negated by just having an AA credit card.

So if Southwest fails who buys their inventory or absorbs them? That’s a lot of 737s

They rarely have any $59 deals to multiple locations. It’s always locations close to where you’re flying from. It would be nice if they ran the $59 special to all of their locations and not just a reduced amount of cities.
