if you google HVL ,it says in one of the articles that she said " God didn't intend me to be a honorable mention". What does that mean to you guys?

It could mean that she wants to be a first team All-American and not an "honorable mention" All-American as she was this year, but I think it means she wants to win a championship!

It means she’s a high achiever and doesn’t want to be an honorable mention All-American.
