It looked to me that D Bird could have easily caught the "over thrown" touchdown pass. It seemed he didn't extend his arms fully. If he would have dove that looked like he could have easily been a TD. Anyone else feel the same?

It looked like he fully extended just off his fingertips as was the one with tolliver. Why would he not go after a ball for a td that is his money?

Actually, I thought the problem was earlier in the route when he slowed down....had he maintained his speed, that would have been an easy catch.

Makes you wonder if D. BYRD is not fed up with Lee and was just going threw the motions so JJ can be put in the game.

As terrible as JJ is, i really wonder if that is the case.

I do think he is buddies with JJ though.

No, I have typos sometimes, but you clearly don't follow the team enough to even know how to spell a starter's name. Even if you have a good point, it makes your credibilty take a hit.

Obviously you all didn't watch the game. When jj came in and threw an out to byrd who continued on his go route. The coach and byrd got into it about what route he was supposed to run. Especially after seeing that episode i highly doubt byrd is running half hearted, messing with his money to get a true freshman who was erratic in most of his throws out there on the field and get his head knocked off,,,kinda how lee led tolliver into that slobber knocker last night. If byrd was not giving full effort don't you believe the coaches would see that and get him off the field.

I am sick of you people who in the last few days have now decided that D-Byrd is the scapegoat for everything wrong with this moribund offense.
I think he has demonstrated remarkable constraint, given the fact that his talent is being squandered.

Lay off him.

He is playing hard out there and is showing alot of passion. He figured on having a big year with RP but he has fell into his role as the second receiver and has done great considering who has been throwing passes all year.

Look dude, im not gonna sit here and argue with yo about spelling BYRD wrong ok. I do not study the spelling of each players name on the roster. I know its spelled Byrd and I simply made a mistake. You know nothing about me to question me about not following the team enough. So STFU and grow up ok. Im done.
