Just finished Platinuming Fallen Order last night in anticipation of Survivor. I’m incredibly excited. This was actually the first “Soulslike” game I ever played, and was a springboard into the genre.
One thing I will say after having subsequently played Sekiro and Elden Ring: the lack of fast travel between meditation points in Fallen Order is a gigantic pain in the dick, especially with how much you re-visit areas in each of the worlds. Forcing the player to re-trace all your steps felt like a bit of a bullshite mechanic to make the game feel like it was longer than it actually is. Despite that, still loved Fallen Order.
From everything that has been shown to us, Survivor looks to be a big improvement in a lot of areas. Just not sure they added fast-traveling around (what are almost certain to be) gigantic maps.

This. I really hope they added it. I read somewhere that was on their list of things to improve, as well as the map. But I guess we won't find out until the game drops.
I saw that we get to visit Coruscant. I hope it is as 'open world' as they claim it to be.
