They asked for more episodes in season 8 or a season 9 to fully develop the plot of Daenerys turning from good guy to bad guy but it wasn't approved. And so we got the shite product where she went from good guy to bad guy in 2.5 episodes, which made the whole season just feel dumb.

It made my day when the Star Wars project they rushed through GoT's ending to get to was cancelled without so much as a pilot.
