Saw them fri in Toronto. Generally hate arena shows but it was good. Stripped down band no backup singers etc. Good sound a little harder than past tours. Nice fletch tribute. Coming back to TO in nov, once is enough for awhile

I'll be at the show in New Orleans. Really looking forward to it.

They finally brought out an album that's really, really good and they're playing only a handful of the songs from it. There are several good songs from Memento Mori that would work great live. I understand they have to play the songs everyone wants to hear but damn, give some of those ones they did on the last few tours that are stale a rest. With that said, I got four tix to the NOLA show.

101. I agree the new album has some of old DM sound and is good but us old folks are there for the music of our younger days so they have to cover older stuff. Gahans voice is still good and he prances around like jagger so he's a very good frontman. If u like DM go see them while they can put on a great show. Saw roxy music last fall and while the show was really good they had back ups for all spots except manzanara and ferrys voice gave out thru the show. See em while we can and enjoy

I've been watching some clips on youtube of them performing their singles at some of the late night talk shows. Seems good. Also, doesn't it feel like this might be their last tour?

I dont think it will be their last but their sound is good, vocals great, etc so its a good time to see them. Was considering peter Gabriel this yr as well but tickets are crazy money and it will likely be his last but i will pass.

I am one of those 'old folks' too

I've been to at least one show for every tour since Devotional except for the last "Spirit" tour. I do enjoy the old stuff which I categorize as pre Songs of Faith and Devotion. But songs like A Pain that I'm Used To, John the Revelator, and even Precious live I'd gladly swap out for a couple of the new songs. I just don't feel those I named work well live - personal opinion of course. Regardless, I'm just thrilled to have a quality album - and there's still 4 recorded songs that remain unreleased. Expecting a deluxe album or hopefully some additional singles with B-Sides in order to hear all the output from this recording session.
