Actually, it's originally meant as an insult to Nebraska fans. Some Auburn fan stole the text from a messageboard, replaced Nebraska/Lincoln/etc. with LSU/Baton Rouge and posted it on an Auburn message board. LSU fans aren't insulted by it because it doesn't make sense.
