You get to keep your buildings and such if you pay the 2 years' apportionment and unfunded pension liabilities. Some stuff you have must go. You can't use the "flame and cross" anywhere in your church. You can't use the Methodist hymnal. You essentially must get rid of anything that "they" think belongs to the UMC.
As evil as they are, I wonder will they sue the Global Methodist Church as the have their own Book of Discipline. How could stay the traditional Church without plagiarizing the original Book of Discipline?

You are correct on the pension fee. We have to get rid of the flame unless it's a permanent fixture and can't be removed. No biggie but they said we could keep the hymnals.
Interesting and frustrating times for sure.
