Not really. They planned to have him under contract, they currently are 20 mil under the cap with his current deal. There’s no need to move his deal outside of the principal of not starting a player with that salary

no he’s not. They aren’t cutting him. It would only be a 20 million dollar dead cap difference and still a negative 40 mil on the cap sheet if they cut him post June 1This post was edited on 3/28/23 at 8:27 pm
