wouldn't be shocked if they try to capitalize on nostalgia. If so will be interested to see what that looks like.
It's wild how intense the nostalgia and memories surrounding this one establishment is but they are. Walking the aisles trying to find that new release you wanted, the rush of moving the title cover and seeing there was a VHS available to rent behind it, picking out your candy, knowing a pizza was being delivered to top it off....it was a whole ritual and experience.

There’s a way to recapture this without the need for hard copies of movies. I would very much prefer to go to a physical store and browse there before picking a digital rental I can access at home than spending an hour on my couch arguing about what to watch before ultimately deciding we don’t want to watch anything actually
