It’s going to be batting practice against good teams. He’s already given up 4 XBH in 9.2IP ( 2 HR, 2B, 3B).

His ERA is at 5.31 over the last two seasons. How does he look fine

I’m not worried because I don’t think he’s going to pitch in any type of high leverage situation unless they really really really get behind the 8 ball

Money retired the first 9 he faced last night. Looked fine to me. Again, is he an ace? Of course not.

Look at his lines this year. Solo homer against W Michigan. Big deal. He struck out the side, by the way. 3 innings, 1 hit, 0 runs, 5 ks over the next month. Not much usage, not much comps, but those are fine numbers. Not great, not bad against A&M strictly in there to not give up a crooked number. Retired the first 9 last night, then had a crooked inning started on a fly out to cf.

Good k/bb ratio. Not the worst whip.

It's fine, especially for a guy that is working on a completely new delivery.
