Third vote for the Las Colinas/Lake Carolyn area in the vicinity of the Toyota Music Factory. We are in Southlake, but my oldest (28) and his wife are in a 1BR apt right on Lake Carolyn Pkwy. Great walking trails, restaurants everywhere, train stop across the street, easy access to both airports and tons of young people.
Great place to start and figure out where you really want to be.
