I struggle with it too. I think it comes down too, they used to not have time for these problems back in the early 1900s. You had to focus on having enough to live. Slowly as we progressed in the 1900s and more people began having more. Less real problems to worry about like living and more fake problems made it progress, however it was misdiagnosed and mistreated. People didn’t have the global connectivity they have in the coming 40-50 years so you don’t have people talking about it.
Stoicism is something that is lost on today's society.
