re: Why has mental health declined so much over the years?

We no longer have clearly defined roles and/or purpose that is defined by a culture.

People are told the following lies:
1. You can be anything you want to be.
2. You are a winner no matter what place you finish.
3. Your feelings matter.
4. You have a right to be offended.
5. People will love you for who you are.

All of these are complete fantasies and will never lead you to happiness.
