Fair point. There is no evidence to prove that this crime was an ethnically-targeted hate crime.
However, it is undeniable, that the recent rhetoric of our political leaders, in our media and similar propaganda being peddled by our institutions all contribute towards the narrative that Black Africans are victims of a society which has mistreated and exploited them.
Wouldn't you then agree that it follows that those who are members of the Black African community who subscribe to these ideas, could convince themselves of the dangerous notion that they are somewhat 'justified'/'entitled' in committing these types of crimes because they feel that society at large, owes them something.
For you Black Africans on this board, am I completely off base in thinking this to be the case? Please chime in.

I don't identify as African, but this thug would have attacked this woman regardless of any message conveyed by the media and our politicians. She is a small person carrying a lot of cash who is incapable of defending herself.
People like this are so unbelievably stupid that they cannot support themselves without handouts or without taking from others. They will always prey on the weakest. At best, the current narratives just give them an additional excuse.
