As much as we rip on this guy, myself included, I think he had a pretty decent game on Saturday. He played well and didn't get beat deep. One play he got lucky where the Alabama guy dropped the pass but still, he played a pretty decent game and deserves to be recognized after all the crap that gets thown out on here about him.

he showed last saturday that without any doubt, he's a safety
why he played CB for so long, i'll never know
the boy simply can't turn and run that well

I've always thought he did a descent job at Nickle, but it was just a position he was not well suited for, more blame needs to be on the coaches for continually allowing him to line up against the slot WR.
I believe he will be a very good FS, his natural position, and I look forward to many more good games from him.

honestly, he's a okay player, tackling needs work and he is speed detriment, if you know what I mean.

Most reasonable people were never down on him as much as they were on the coaches for putting him in bad situations. I did think he whiffed on a few tackles this past game though.

I think the entire secondary whiffed on tackles. That Jones kid could wiggle out of 3 guys and still get 10 more yards. He was impressive but I thought we did a good job not letting him really expload.

if you wanna see how a DB hits, youtube Tennessee's Berry hitting Knowshon Moreno, and he's only 195, but that's how you do it.

You will be calling for his head again by the end of the 2nd quarter.
