If he gets hired somewhere else that would just validate that we fired him for no good reason at all.

LSU is hoping the NCAA goes easy on them in basketball and more importantly football by firing Wade. By doing so, all of the people involved in all the football & basketball allegations are no longer at LSU. It would be a lot more enticing to the NCAA to punish the school if all those people were still here.

If he gets hired by McNeese it proves no other ADs wanted anything to do with him.
