This depends entirely on where you are located.
If you're in the LC area, you have multiple good public options.
If you're in Orleans or EBR parish? Not much. But you could go to their surrounding MSA to find good public options.

Orleans parish is just about all private through charters and vouchers and even with the background of the kids they score about in the middle on state test—-a testament to the power of school choice.
