quote:I don't think you can do this with ANY wildlife/fish. It's technically called a daily bag limit and a possession limit. Posession is the most dailies you can have at any given time.
Is there a limit to how many times you can limit?? Can anyone just catch their limit go back to the camp, drop off the fish and then do it again???

They could just go for the same regulations as calcasieu lake. Already used in part the state and accomplishes a bunch of the things they want.
Who is this "they want"????
IMO and many others that fish Calcasieu Lake [Big Lake], were not in favor of this change that was made over 10 yeas ago.
Before the change, Big lake was know as a place that produced many Speckled trout over 8 lbs each year. It has been many years since anyone has reported catching a Trophy trout in Big lake.
Also, since the trout limit was lowered to 15 fish, most anglers repot that the majority fish they catch are 10-11" long.
Lowering the trout limit and allowing the Oyster fishermen to destroy most of the Oyster reefs has had a big negative on the trout population.
