Being able to groom derek trucks and pick up warren Haynes gave the allmans a third life that most these other bands don’t get. Seeing the allmans in 2010 was still a Damn good show.

Creatively they weren’t terrible post Duane but it’s just dominated by dickey’s country sound, instead of more jazz/blues that daune and the rhythm section drove. Losing berry Oakley on bass around the same time as Duane was big too.
