Sewer BackUp Prevention - BR Area

Three homes in our 1990’s est. neighborhood have had (not weather related) sewer backups, two of which flooded their homes because of tree root issues. I don’t have a single tree on my lot, but only been here 2 years so not sure what existed before.
Any BR recommendations of companies that do preventative checks/work & steps I can take to make sure the same will not happen to us?
Thanks!

CES can camera your line to determine if you have any issues. You could also install a check valve (backwater flow valve) to prevent backups no matter the cause.

Most all plumbers have sewer cameras nowadays, as they use them to check for power or gas lines before cleaning out the lines. Just choose a plumber and go with him.
