That is actually quite encouraging to hear. Quite contrary to a lot of what I've heard.

Although I've had full benefits available for 25 years I've not used them but once as I've had full private insurance for almost the entire time and won't take resources away from those that do not have other insurance.

Same. I do a yearly exam at the VA and I'll say this its gotten much better.

A couple of things, the WW2 and Korea guys are gone and the system is able to focus on younger vets.

There are plenty of services for vets, but if the vet doesnt go get it then its on him/her.
