I still can't figure out how Thelma Lou could afford a big house. I don't think I ever saw her working. Side Hustle perhaps? I don't believe Barn ever tapped it in that house. Always having to take her to the duck pond in the squad car. Andy also had to go there. Aunt Bee wasn't having any of that in her house. A couple of times I saw them double date at the duck pond in the squad car.Good times...

There was one episode where Thelma Lou was trying to duck Helen, and said she had to "get back to the office".
