Too many socially conservative populists. They all want an easy buck.

So many bad decisions, where would we be if Bennett Johnston had beaten Edwards 1971? Where would N.O. be if Fitzmorris had beaten Moon? Both elections were decided by a few hundred votes, but it went the wrong way for us.

Katrina, Betsy, Gustav, Ida combined didn't do the damage the Moon and EWE were responsible for. I saw the bagmen running themselves crazy trying to keep up with the cash.

The really hilarious thing is that when we do get someone in state gov't who is smart and honest, we ridicule them.

The states of the Old South pay dearly for the sins of their forefathers, the remnants of slavery are an albatross we will wear for centuries to come. At least we got good college football out of it.

Personally, I hope someone burns down every one of the godforsaken plantations, they are monuments to a system that enslaved the corrupt masters as well as their victims. Tell me the truth, would we not all be better off if in 1776 Jefferson had written a constitution that outlawed slavery? Hell yes.
