Friends in NOLA were told by their real estate agent that they had to move all the stuff out that they had moved in when her parents died.
It went into storage as well as other stuff so their smallish uptown cottage looked larger, sold faster, and then they moved everything into their next significantly larger house. When they sold it, all the stuff was moved to his grandmothers house two states away, they were living in separate states, and she took what she wanted and left the rest behind with the divorce.
